Applications are now open for Wyoming dads interested in building skills for in-demand careers.

Through our Dads Making a Difference program and Laramie County Community College’s Metallica Scholars Initiative, participants can receive hands-on training in HVAC, electrical systems, safety, and more.

Training begins in Fall 2026. To apply, pick up an application at the Cheyenne Workforce Center or call 307-777-3454 for more information.

Dads Making a Difference has been selected as a key partner in LCCC’s Metallica Scholars Initiative, creating a new opportunity for fathers to build in-demand skills and prepare for new career pathways.

📣 Applications are open now! Custodial and noncustodial fathers interested in this opportunity are encouraged to apply for the Fall 2026 program.

Through this partnership, a select number of DADS participants will have the opportunity to complete Essential Systems Technician training, including hands-on instruction in HVAC, electrical systems, safety, and more with industry professionals at Advanced Comfort Solutions.

Participants will gain practical, in-demand skills that can help open the door to new career opportunities and create lasting impacts for their families.
