I had previously asked for your thoughts on interviewing election candidates, and I'm seriously considering it. Would you be interested in watching a small debate featuring each candidate on a YouTube channel after the primaries? All candidates would have an open invitation to discuss their policies and what they’d bring to the table.

Elections are tomorrow! Tuesday, Aug 16, from 7am-7pm. I strongly encourage any and everyone that is over the age of 18 to go vote tomorrow. I believe it’s extremely important for our future regardless of your thoughts on “politics” in itself. I don’t want to shove it down anyone’s throat, but I tried to include a few helpful tools for those who would like to know what you’re voting for and how to vote. First things first, if you haven’t registered to vote yet….THATS OK! Wyomings laws allow you to register the day of the election, but with the new voter ID Law passed last year everyone MUST provide some sort of ID when they go to vote (Drivers license, SS card, etc)The first link I have below is a interactive map that allows you to enter your address and get a sample ballot that includes all the offices you’re voting for and the candidates for those offices. If you have any questions about candidates I’d love to help answer them, OR most of the candidates have a FB page or brief website that can give you an idea of what they’re about. The second link I included is another interactive map that will tell you which polling location is closest to you to make it easy. Again, the polls will be open from 7am-7pm, and if you absolutely had to, you could pull Wyoming Constitution Title 22-2-111, which requires employers to give each eligible employee 1 paid hour to vote on the day of an election. Not that you’d have to, but that is a law haha. The last link I provided is a candidate roster for the entire state of Wyoming showing registered candidates for each position if you’d like to do more research that way! News for the upcoming election season…

Unfortunately, it’s not in the cards for me to run for any office this year. I have been contemplating for a while and trying to figure out what I could effectively run for and I just do not feel any doors have presented themselves. Rather than running “just to run”, I am going to take the next 2 years and better prepare myself for 2024 election season. There’s several other factors that played into this as well but I won’t bore with the details😂

That being said, I absolutely plan to support and help those I can in running for public office! I think it is one of the greatest things an American citizen can do to properly inspire the change and growth they desire in their community. I would encourage EVERYONE of all political mindsets to GET OUT AND BE A CANDIDATE! Just do it!
