Today is the final day of National Arts in Education Week, but we still wanted to take a moment and celebrate the teachers, mentors, and moments that sparked YOUR creativity!

Was it the art teacher who helped you find your style? The drama
instructor who heard your voice? The music teacher who made you feel a part of the band? Arts educators don’t just teach; they unlock opportunities and help every student create, innovate, and thrive in the larger arts industry/community.

Thanks to the Americans for the Arts, arts in education is a paramount part of public education, and arts access in the United States. A huge shoutout to them, and other arts organizations making this same impact, like the National Endowment for the Arts.

The CCA students have been partnering with and on a fun project that's meant to fall apart. Here's the progress. See more of the work done in partnership with Arts Cheyenne for "Democracy Under Construction," part of the 2025 Civic Season events for the Wyoming State Museum, at 6:30 p.m., June 26 in the Wyoming State Museum Classroom. Learn about democracy, and watch the towers fall.

Our ceramics students have been working with artist Margaret Haydon. Her exhibit is now open in the Esther & John Clay Fine Art Gallery. Join us for a reception at noon, June 24.
