📬 Don’t toss that Medicare mail aside!
Your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) is one of the most important pieces of Medicare mail you’ll receive each year. It explains what is changing with your Medicare Advantage or Part D plan for the upcoming year, including costs, benefits, provider networks, and prescription drug coverage.
Even if you’re happy with your current plan, don’t assume everything will stay the same.
Take a few minutes to read your ANOC when it arrives. Then, schedule your Annual Medicare Review with me so we can go over the changes together and make sure your coverage still fits your needs.
And remember, we’re here to help. A little time reviewing your plan now can help prevent surprises in January.
📸Today is Save Your Photos Day!
We all have photos tucked away in albums, boxes, or drawers that hold stories we never want to lose.
This short clip is a great reminder that now is the time to preserve and digitize those memories before it’s too late. Take a few minutes today to find some of those old photos, share the stories behind them, and think about how you can preserve them for the next generation. ❤️
Now we want to hear from you! What’s one old photo you have that you would never want to lose? Better yet, share it with us in the comments and tell us the story behind it! 📷
Because the photos may fade, but the memories shouldn’t.

"Stephanie is the best! So very helpful in explaining the different Medicare programs. She was our life saver!"
Debbie R
Thank you for the kind words and the trust you placed in our office.
🎥 Here’s another quick clip from my conversation with Dr. Hedva Barenholz Levy.
When it comes to medications, it’s important to be an active part of the conversation. Ask questions, understand why you’re taking something, and don’t be afraid to speak up if something doesn’t seem right.
A big thank you to Dr. Levy for sharing so many helpful reminders during our conversation!

NEW PODCAST EPISODE!
Is Mom getting more forgetful or is she simply not hearing the conversation? Is Dad ignoring you or did he never hear you in the first place? And why does the TV seem to get a little louder every time you visit?
It's easy to brush these things off as "just part of getting older." But hearing loss can affect much more than our ability to hear.
On this month's episode of Aging, Healthcare, and Everything in Between, I sit down with Dr. Kate Sinks, Speech and Hearing Service Director at the Center for Hearing and Speech.
We talk about the connection between hearing, memory, relationships, and staying engaged as we age, including:
đź‘‚Early signs of hearing loss families often miss
🧠The connection between hearing loss and cognitive decline
🦻Today's hearing aids and when it may be time to consider one
đź›’Over the counter vs. prescription hearing aids
❤️Simple ways families can communicate better with someone experiencing hearing loss
One of my biggest takeaways from this conversation? Don't automatically assume it's "just aging." Sometimes something as simple as a hearing test can help provide answers.
🎧 Listen to the newest episode of Aging, Healthcare, and Everything in Between.
And if you have a parent, spouse, or friend who keeps asking, "What did you say? "Share this episode with them.🙂
🎥 Here’s a short clip from my recent conversation with Dr. Hedva Barenholz Levy.
One of the biggest takeaways from our conversation was how important it is to ask questions about your medications instead of simply assuming everything you’re experiencing is a normal part of getting older.
If you or someone you love has noticed changes in energy, memory, balance, or just doesn’t quite feel like themselves, it may be worth having a conversation with your doctor or pharmacist about your medications. Sometimes, the right question can make all the difference.
Take a minute to watch this clip from Aging, Healthcare & Everything In Between. And a special thank you to Dr. Levy for joining me and sharing her knowledge with us!

đź’™ Happy Grandparents Day!
Today we celebrate the grandparents who fill our families with love, wisdom, stories, and memories that last a lifetime.
Whether it’s sharing family traditions, offering a little advice, cheering from the sidelines, or simply being there when they’re needed, grandparents have a special way of making a difference across generations.
To all the grandparents in our lives and in our community, thank you for everything you do and for the love you share.
We hope you have a very Happy Grandparents Day! ❤️
🚨September 12th is National Report Medicare Fraud Day.
Medicare fraud can start with an unexpected phone call, a “free” offer, or someone asking you to verify your Medicare information. Protect your Medicare number like you would a credit card. Never give it to someone you don’t know or trust.
And remember, we’re here to help. If something involving your Medicare coverage doesn’t look or sound right, give our office a call. We would much rather have you ask the question than become the victim of a scam. 636-778-2999
Suspected fraud can also be reported to Medicare at 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). Stay aware. Protect your information.
💊 Medicare Open Enrollment will be here before we know it, and there’s something you can do now to prepare.
In this short clip from my recent podcast conversation with Dr. Hedva Barenholz Levy, we talk about the importance of reviewing your medications.
Before Open Enrollment begins, talk with your doctor or pharmacist about the medications you’re taking. Ask if you still need them, if your dosages are right, and whether there are alternatives you should consider.
Knowing what your medication needs may look like for the coming year can make reviewing your Medicare prescription coverage much easier.
🎥 Take a minute to watch this clip. A conversation with your doctor or pharmacist now can help you make better Medicare decisions during Open Enrollment.
