DEX FingerLight

Something's launching soon for all the moon and star gazers.

Shot this morning with cellphone... not too shabby! 🌚

🦌 This morning, two young bucks offered a microcosm of the September dominance scale on camera:

- 30 minutes of sparring followed by full fight.

- The rut isn't here yet—but the social order is changing.

- As daylight shortens, testosterone rises and peaceful bachelor groups break apart.

- September sparring establishes dominance. Bucks are testing strength and figuring out who's going to yield to whom before the breeding season begins.

- Most encounters start as controlled pushing and sparring, but when two evenly matched bucks refuse to back down, sparring can turn into a real fight. That's what we have here.

- Establishing dominance now can prevent more dangerous fights later.

- Some end in the death of one or both animals.

- A buck that learns he's subordinate in September may simply give way when they meet again during the rut.

- I've seen this happen with fully mature bucks. Literally forcing one change his core area.

- It's also why taking a mature dominant buck early can open his core area to new bucks to establish dominance.

The rut may still be weeks away, but the competition has begun!

Did you know the was originally invented for surgery? 🚑

But our bowhunter founder quickly saw another application: a faster, easier alternative to the headlamp he didn’t need for simple trail navigation, climbing into a stand, or handling gear.🏹

Turns out, he was right. When you need light right now, right where want it, DEX FingerLight is faster and easier than a headlamp. 😁

🇺🇸 No plane crashing, building collapsing, people jumping videos to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the cowardly 9/11 attacks. Just a flag at our farm.

🇺🇸 We want those who were not yet born to know how Americans came together and how the entire free world backed us.

🇺🇸 We want them to know how we responded with determination, resolve, and love for one another.

🇺🇸 We want them to know that our military defeated the cowards and their leaders.

🇺🇸 People may eventually forget 9/11, just like they forget 12/7 or 6/6. But never forget America is the light of the world, always a target for evil, and will always overcome.
