At St. Luke's, every survivor has a story.

Tommy Wright joined us at Saturday's Cancer Survivor Celebration to honor his journey and celebrate life after cancer. Now in remission, Tommy is sharing his experience publicly to raise awareness that breast cancer can affect men, too.

After initially dismissing a lump he discovered, Tommy was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer and underwent surgery and chemotherapy. Today, he continues his follow-up care at St. Luke's and is encouraging others not to ignore changes in their health.

We're grateful to Tommy and his wife, Debbie, for sharing their story of courage, perseverance and hope.

We're proud to share that Mark Fesler, MD, Hematologic Malignancy Specialist and Director of Bispecific Immunotherapy at St. Luke's Center for Cancer Care, was recently featured as an expert commentator in the American Society of Hematology's (ASH) "You Make the Call" series.

In the June 2026 edition, Dr. Fesler provided expert insight on a complex case involving high-grade B-cell lymphoma and lymphoma-associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), helping clinicians navigate challenging treatment decisions.
