πŸ’™πŸ₯ŠKnockout ALD is pleased to send another check ($5,600) to the lab team at the University of Minnesota for the ALD Research Fund thanks in large part to Team John Vittrup Callahan and a Nordstrom matching grant.

✍️ Along with this, we are also able to send more cards of good wishes from one of our local elementary school Let Me Run teams. The cards will be delivered to the Child Life specialists for patients on the BMT floor, many of whom are fighting ALD. πŸ’™
Thanks to Dr. Lund and his ALD research lab team for their continued cutting edge work in the fight against ALD.πŸ₯Š

πŸ’™All the feels keep coming from our 9th Annual Run for ALD! A kind surprise bonus this year: some of the over 300 boys from the nonprofit Let Me Run St. Louis organization who participated in our event also completed a small service project. They chose to make uplifting cards for some of the patients on the BMT floor , several of whom are receiving treatment for cerebral ALD. The boys’ heartwarming and sincere words I’m sure will bring some much-needed smiles to our warriors. πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ’™.
Thank you !
