👀 This one office decision conceived the idea of The Annex Workspace 5 years earlier……..

Although I had a traditional real estate office and was running a successful team, I rented a solo office at 4240 Duncan Ave in the Cortex District for 3 years beginning in 2015. The intention was to get out of my comfort zone, surround myself with entrepreneurs, and put myself in an environment where bigger thinking was the norm.

❌ At that time I wasn’t looking to start a coworking company

Over the next 3 years, I was exposed to founders, innovators, and business owners who challenged the way I thought about growth, leadership, and opportunity. Some of those relationships turned into friendships, business partnerships, and even investments that continue to this day.

That experience opened my eyes to the power of coworking and ultimately inspired me to open the first The Annex Workspace.

Fast forward to today and we have 4 locations, over 150 businesses at our addresses, The Gellman Team corporate offices and Tyler Gellman moving back from Scottsdale to lead the business.

It’s interesting to see what can come out of one decision.

👀👀It’s funny how it works that I don’t pay attention to a name until it becomes relevant in my life, and then suddenly I see it everywhere.

Home City Ice is a member at our newest The Annex Workspace Wildwood and now I can’t drive down the road without spotting one of their trucks or ice machines at a gas station or convenience store. It’s a great reminder of how awareness changes perspective❄️
