The end of the school year means that the child/teen that has been seeking you out to talk or to provide a safe space will no longer have access to you until next year. Please consider referring them to a therapist that can support them through the summer months. Sometimes, a referral from a trusted adult is the first step in getting them support. Today, Healing Reflections had to privilege to attend Career Day at Laburnum Elementary. We discussed my role as a Play Therapist, understanding and managing emotions and even did some Yoga!! Great to return to the classroom and spend time with the kids!!!
