Today, on Patriot Day, Chester County School District (CCSD) joins communities across our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honoring the bravery of the first responders, service members, and ordinary citizens who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of tragedy.

As educators, we recognize the importance of preserving the lessons of that day for future generations. Patriot Day reminds us of the strength found in unity, the power of service, and the resilience of the American spirit. We encourage our students, staff, and families to take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made and the values that continue to bring us together.

May we never forget those we lost, and may we continue to inspire our students with a commitment to compassion, service, and citizenship.

As we celebrate Labor Day, Chester County School District will be closed to allow students and staff the opportunity to enjoy the holiday with family and friends.

Labor Day honors the hard work and contributions of workers across our nation. We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday weekend. We look forward to welcoming students and staff back refreshed and ready to learn!

We encourage families to review your child's progress and celebrate their successes while identifying areas for continued growth.

Mr. Ray's class is learning different types of weights and measures in class.

Congratulations to our TLC middle school students! Every student in our middle school program made gains in at least one of their fall MAP tests!!! They were awarded Pizza Hut pizzas for lunch today!

Students in Mr. Ray's science class have been hard at work in our school garden, prepping it for fall plants.

On Friday, TLC students participated in different project-based learning activities that gave them hands-on experience with what they are learning. Students used tape and canvas to paint angles, built a greenhouse for fall seed starting, and learned about careers and budgeting.
