As Halloween festivities start to begin and go into the weekend, we have our important annual reminder. If you do see it, rather than throwing hands, use it as a teaching moment. Educate those on why it’s problematic.

Deep River residents react to recent racist incidents in town After the two racist incidents that took place, a local coffee shop is raising money to help put an end once and for all.
Imagine being such a racist piece of s**t that you shove a kid.
This is a new low, even for Deep River.

We’re so grateful for the students from Valley Regional High School for taking a public stand against hate speech and racism in our community.
The only way we can build a better world is through consistent and meaningful action. “Thoughts and prayers” and “with you in solidarity” are essentially meaningless.
