Chester Veterans Banner Program

If you and/or your family has an existing banner and want it replaced, it will be $120 for the printing of a banner. If you'd like to order a new banner for a veteran we haven't featured yet, it will be $150 (includes hanging hardware). You can print and fill this attached form out or you can pick one up at the Chester American Legion, send application to: Chester Veteran Banner Program c/o Eric Null, 404 Carolina Avenue, Chester WV 26034.

If you don't see your veteran's name in the two posted lists below, that means your veteran's banner is still in good shape. The lists are in alphabetical order and show some detail about the state of the banner.

List 2 of 2. Sorry for the delay, this is the second post. This list shows banners that we've determined to be optional to replace. They have general wear and tear and are starting to show their age. If you don't see your veteran's name on these two lists, that means your veteran's banner is still in good shape. We will be calling the contacts from the original order to offer a path to getting a new banner.

We will be taking down the Veteran Banners on November 18 (Saturday). At that time, we'll assess them for quality - good or worn out . We'll publish a list of the worn out banners with an option and path to get a fresh, new replacement banner. We'll contact those who have contact info in their original order as well.

Chester Veterans Banner Program A place to feature and show gratitude to our local veterans.

The Chester Sons of the American Legion has inherited the Chester Veterans Banner Program. This will be a community touchpoint to feature Veterans and celebrate their service. We are in the process of updating forms for ordering new and updating existing banners and establishing our renewed organization. In the future, we will feature individual Veterans on our page so people get to know the faces they see on the banners as they walk around town.
