Who can qualify?
Any first-time homebuyer who works or is retired from one of these community-serving roles:
• Teachers & school staff
• Healthcare workers
• Police, sheriffs & corrections
• Firefighters & EMS
• Active duty, Guard, Reserve & Veterans
• Local or state government employees
• Nonprofit community service workers
The best part?
✔️ It’s a true $10,000 grant — not a loan
✔️ It can be stacked with other grants (VH Plus, FHLB, SPARC, city grants, etc.)
✔️ Works with Virginia Housing loan products
✔️ Can bring many buyers close to $0 out of pocket
