Masterworks is an organization whose vision is to restore America’s performing arts to its original respect for God, and its willingness to unashamedly dramatize and present to audiences of all ages His love for us and His call to righteousness. We present original works in Hampton Roads Virginia, and are based out of Academie de Ballet in Chesapeake.
Masterworks Training Company had their final outreach performance at Hampton Manor on June 1st! We are so proud of the way Miss Jessica Hartsfield leads this group of young ladies with passion and devotion! Whether it’s through Bible studies, choreography sessions, or trips to mission to others- she is an amazing leader! 
The team was busy this year with several performances. This last performance gave the girls an opportunity to showcase many dances, give gifts to the residents, and spend time just talking to them one on one.

Back by popular demand, Masterworks is presenting “A Storyland Christmas” at the Harrison Opera House on Saturday, December 7, with shows at 2 PM and 7 PM.
A Hampton Roads tradition since 2007, this heartwarming story brings characters to life through acting and dance. Classical ballet of the sugarplum fairy and her friends, as well as tap dancing and precision dancing is sure to please all ages! Your favorite storybook characters are back, and must deal with the constant negativity from “The Crooked Man” (Mayor Miserly) who despises Holiday Cheer. Join Old Mother Hubbard and her children as they journey from their home in the forest to pay their taxes and see the Nativity play in town! Delight in their adventures through the Toymaker’s Shop, Candy Palace, and the Winter Wonderland- all on a delightful adventure to show Mayor Miserly the wonders of Christmas! Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, and the Scope box office.
