Happy Thursday! Today we are highlighting Patsy Mink (1927 - 2002), she was the first Asian-American Woman to serve congress. She served 24 years and is widely known for her work on advancing women's rights and education. Mink was one of the leading voices in authorizing and gaining support for the Title IX Amendment in 1972.

Sea Mar Community Health Clinics is now accepting application for the 2023 Executive Internship program making this EWU’s 12th cohort to participate!
Internship will begin late June, students must be available for the duration of the program, tentatively scheduled to begin June 26th and end on the week of August 25th
Up to six (6) EWU Chicanx/Latinx participants will be selected.
Open to all majors
Internship is a paid position, and it includes free housing in the Seattle area (optional), transportation is not included
