We’re back up and running, folks! With a few new book additions. Come on by for your next adventure!

Update: The plexiglass front has become detached from the frame so we are working to secure it firmly to continue to keep the books dry through all sorts of weather. Thank you for your patience!

Not to fear friends! The Rock Lane Little Free Library (LFL) still stands and your books have been removed for temporary safe-keeping. The popular walking street became a river this evening and many-a-trash can and debris bag floated by our front stoop. The LFL had quite the front row view!
We will assess damage and make repairs as needed before returning the books to their home!
Thank you for being a part of the community and sharing in the ongoing life of this LFL.

February is Black History Month. But Black History is not confined to just a month. Look through your book shelves today, tomorrow, and next month too. Have any books by black authors, African American themes, biographies of pivotal black figures? If you’ve already read them and you’re ready to part with them, share them in the Rock Lane Library for others!

Welcome Friends to the page of the Rock Lane Little Free Library, established January 2021. It was built and painted with love from donated materials! We are so thrilled to bring this Library to our community. Come by to take a book, leave a book or just peruse! We will not be monitoring the books that go in and out, that is the responsibility of you, the community. We will simple be maintaining the library to make sure it is clean, functional, inviting and lasts a long time! Take a stroll down Rock Lane for a visit! Open all year round, 24/7, rain, snow and sunshine!
