A new residential commission in progress, handwoven from recycled materials, aluminum, and painted threads. A tactile interplay of structure, light, and memory.

Handwoven with recycled metal, coated silk, tinted aluminum, and 24k gold thread, this 30 × 30 inch gradient panel shifts into near three-dimensionality through light and reflection.

Fiber art not confined to fiber alone. This handwoven segment is crafted entirely from 24k gold and rubber threads—an exploration of contrast, tension, and value within materiality. Part of a larger composition.

From conceptualization to sketches, sampling, and staging—here’s a case study of an ongoing project.

A series of nine handwoven panels that explore the defining forces of this American State: its largest exports, commercial successes, and natural resources. Each textural artwork translates these elements into woven form, creating a tactile narrative of place, industry, and identity.

TOTEM, A WALL’S JEWELRY—

While rooted in textile traditions, my work often expands beyond fiber—recycling and combining materials not typically associated with weaving. From 24k gold to rubber and salvaged industrial remnants, my wall-based panels draw inspiration from specific countries, their natural resources, and commercial activity. At their core, these works are explorations of multiculturalism, designed to spark dialogue and shift perspectives.

Commissioned late last year for a private office on Madison Avenue, Skylight Reverie is an artwork inspired by—made in and for—New York City.
Composed of thousands of individually cut and hand-painted threads, this 2D work captures the city’s light, texture, and quiet energy beneath a crisp spring skylight at dawn.
