Chelsea and East Boston neighbors came to this first-of-its-kind event nervous about disconnection notices and high bills, and left really happy with lower bills, termination from predatory third-party suppliers, enrollment in debt-reduction programs, gas discounts, appliance replacements, and energy-saving giveaways!

Vecinos de Chelsea y East Boston llegaron a este evento, el primero de su tipo, preocupados por avisos de desconexión y facturas altas, ¡y se fueron muy contentos con facturas más bajas, la cancelación de proveedores externos abusivos, la inscripción en programas de reducción de deudas, descuentos en gas, el reemplazo de electrodomésticos y regalos para ahorrar energía!

What GreenRoots' Executive Director Roseann Bongiovanni has initiated and led, transforming 18 acres of toxic industrial land into affordable housing, a nature center, and public waterfront access, is what decades of visionary, community-rooted leadership looks like.
