This year's campaign from the NFPA focuses on safe charging practices to help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires. From phones and laptops to e-bikes and other rechargeable devices, simple charging habits can make a big difference in keeping homes and communities safe.

The rumors are true: SLFD is coming to Losson Park today from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM to turn the parking lot into an absolute monsoon!
Sure, the thermometer says it’s only in the 60s, but since when does a little brisk weather stop us? Think of it as a "polar plunge" training camp, or just an excuse to see how fast we can turn a parking lot into a full-blown water park.

Where: Losson Park Parking Lot by the tennis courts

Weather: A crisp 60-something degrees (but 100% chance of heavy rain)
