Dogs are loving the cold spell we had this weekend

We had registered for 4 races this winter, but it has been too warm to train and get the miles we needed and have withdrawn from three of them. If we had the refrigerator trailer and treadmill set up the dogs would have had all kinds of miles in training. Maybe next year.

After the mice getting fat on my dog food all summer and the surprise visit of a 6 foot timber rattler last month, say hello to my new Best Friend.

It will be 50 degrees at 7am tomorrow morning. Training will officially begin in the morning

I know that dogs need calcium for strong bones and teeth. But, really??

I am changing the design of the dog houses as they break.

Finally had enough trying to repair the 5 foot farm fence (note the tires I used to cover the holes they kept digging to get to each other). Now I have a 6 foot chain link fence separating the boys and girls and the farm fence is buried under it to keep them from digging holes. The tires can now be used for the obstacle course, as originally planned.

I got tired of replacing the tarps that I put over the kennels. The dogs thought they were chew toys. These A-frames are working so much better.

I question they're going to be pulling pretty well this season. Pugsley just snapped his Tee-post.
