5️⃣th Week Tag 👊ed

I didn’t plan on hunting this weekend but decided to enter a Turkey Contest yesterday. The 80° weather made sitting in a blind feel like a sauna and made for an unsuccessful day of hunting. 🥵

The temp dropped last night and with today being a high in the 50s, I knew the birds would be active. Whelp, I was right and by 7am I had a Tom down!! 🙌

2nd week was my draw week, but having to shoot a crossbow due to restrictions with my shoulder, a miss was made and I didn’t feel too great going into shoulder surgery the next day for the rest of the season. 😪

Thanks to my Brother’s BOG Deathgrip which allowed me to use my 12G again with having my arm in a slingand not being able to hold it with both arms. 🤕

Thanks to my husband who helped with what I can’t do since I have only one operational arm, and was there for the one thing I live for....Hunting....most of all....TURKEY Hunting!! 🦃

I do have another Tag for next week and it would be absolutely awesome to do it again! ❤️

Been a blessed year for bobcats on our hunting properties. Hadn’t seen these kind of numbers over the 8 years of hunting this ground. Good shooting Gabby and Alexander. Glad our hunting properties had been able to get you your first animals.
