Jerigray Eduave will be at SummerDance for the first time this year teaching Hip Hop!
Learn Hip Hop foundation and techniques with culture and authenticity at the forefront. This class blends studio-based learning with Hip Hop’s social roots through the cypher, call-and-response, and polyrhythms, connecting technique to history.

Michael Dexter Howard will be at SummerDance for the first time this year teaching Musical Theater!
Step into the spotlight this summer with Musical Theater at The Pop-Up Project! This high-energy class introduces students to the three essential pillars of musical theater: singing, acting, and dancing. Performers will build confidence, creativity, and stage presence while learning how these three performance skills work together to bring stories to life.
Through fun theater games, vocal exercises, choreography, character work, and ensemble performance activities, students will explore what it means to be a “triple threat” performer. Whether your child is brand new to the stage or already loves performing, this class creates a supportive and exciting environment where every student can shine.
By the end of camp, students will strengthen their performance skills, collaborate with others, and experience the joy of storytelling through musical theater!

¡Entra al centro del escenario este verano con Teatro Musical en El Proyecto Pop-up! Esta clase de alta energía introduce a los estudiantes a los tres pilares esenciales del teatro musical: canto, actuación y baile. Los intérpretes desarrollarán confianza, creatividad y presencia escénica mientras aprenden cómo estas tres habilidades de interpretación trabajan juntas para dar vida a las historias.
A través de divertidos juegos teatrales, ejercicios vocales, coreografía, trabajo de personajes y actividades de interpretación en conjunto, los estudiantes explorarán lo que significa ser un intérprete de "triple amenaza". Ya sea que tu hijo sea completamente nuevo en el escenario o ya le encante actuar, esta clase crea un ambiente de apoyo y emocionante donde cada estudiante puede brillar.
¡Al final del campamento, los estudiantes fortalecerán sus habilidades de interpretación, colaborarán con otros y experimentarán la alegría de contar historias a través del teatro musical!
