RIP Clive Davis

The music world has lost a true titan. Clive Davis has passed away at 94, leaving behind a legacy that completely reshaped rock history.

While famous for pop and R&B, his legendary ears helped define the classic rock era. He was the visionary who:

🎸Signed the Unknowns: He brought Janis Joplin, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, and Billy Joel into the spotlight at the very start of their careers.
🎸Revitalized the Icons: He masterminded Carlos Santana’s historic Supernatural comeback and championed later-career triumphs for The Kinks, Grateful Dead, and Lou Reed.

From the Summer of Love to stadium rock, Clive gave us the soundtrack to our lives. Rest in peace to a music industry giant. 🎸🎶
