Stop by the Museum this week to experience fun pop-up activities daily from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., all about our fantastic pollinators! Join us for honey tastings, learn what it takes to create your own pollinator garden, or bring out your artistic talents and craft a replica of your favorite pollinators during this special week-long celebration. 🦋🌼

Congratulations to our June Employee of the Month, Tannar Outland! 🌟

Tannar started at CDM to gain a well-rounded experience in the museum field and has been with us for almost three years now! Tannar is passionate about earth science and history and as our EPIC Engagement Coordinator, enjoys helping staff feel confident and prepared for all our programs. 🥽📝

“It makes me feel really good when the program goes smoothly and the facilitators get to have fun without worrying about logistics.”

For her, the thing that makes CDM so unique is our willingness to improve and grow. “We are constantly mixing things up, building an ever-evolving atmosphere that continues to draw guests in and engage the creativity of our staff!” Tannar hopes that every guest who visits the Museum gets the opportunity to feel our core mission through positive daily experiences.
