An evening of bold storytelling and fresh voices takes the stage in this collection of staged readings, featuring semifinalist works from our New Play Festival. These new plays, selected for their originality and impact, are presented in development, offering audiences a unique opportunity to experience them at a pivotal moment in their journey.
From intimate reflections on love and identity to sharp explorations of family, addiction, and personal transformation, these stories span a wide emotional landscape. Each piece invites you into a world of complex relationships, unexpected humor, and striking honesty as characters navigate connection, conflict, and change.
More than a performance, this evening is an invitation to be part of the process. Following each reading, audiences are encouraged to engage in a guided talkback, offering feedback that helps shape the future of these works and supports the growth of the playwrights behind them.
With a focus on actor and text, staged readings strip theatre down to its essentials, creating a space where new work is not only seen, but shared, explored, and refined in real time.
