Since last post, an MRI revealed that I had five damaged vertebrae. thanks to all of all of you who have sent prays and best wishes. Three have been worked on.

Now to happier news.

I was sure that I had twisted a muscle in my back but, after trying stretches , hot pads, ointments ,etc., I went to the doctor. Turns out I have compression fractures of my L1 and L2 MRI next week and doctor' evaluation.

There will be another five day free Kindle book promotion the first week of September For Jack II and Aubrey Part 1. I will get back to you on the exact date.

I hope everyone had a good and safe holiday. Yes, it has been forever. But, book #2 has been through re-write. I fell out of love with the female protagonist and had to change her. Now that is done. I will start a first edit then I will call on a professional. I may have gotten a little verbose and it may have to be two books. I will get input from the editor before I make that decision. I looked at the next book in the series and got excited about where that seemed to be going. Series will be called the Mahon Brothers' Women or The Lost Necklace or ??????. What do you think?

Just back from four days in cabin in the the Cherokee National Forest. A special thanks to the forest family who housed me, feed me, and gave feed back on book #2. I am back in my apartment and watching the complex adding Christmas to the Lobby. Remember that books make great Christmas gifts.
Someone ask if they could get me to sign books that they give as gifts. If you are local. if would be happy to meet new readers, sign their book, and sit and talk. If they are not local talk to me and lets see what we can come up with to make it happen.

Promotional materials are starting to arrive, and I am very anxious for the official word that the book, Finding Home, is published.
To try and keep my blood pressure in check I am pulling together a collection of poems. Also, I am finishing the last chapter of Book number two in this series - Working title is necklace.
I have been asked to describe my writing method. That I will have to think about.
I hope you are as eager I am for the to become a reality.
