County Commissioners Want Attorney's Office To Provide All Info Sought By HamiltonCAN; Taylor Says Request Is Broad, Time Consuming The requests for a large number of correspondence from a number of county officials, including County Mayor Jim Coppinger, came from a group called HamiltonCAN (Citizens Action Network).

February 26 2020 - Hamilton County Commission Recessed and Agenda Meetings 03/01/2020

2/14/2020 a series of Open Records were submitted to the Hamilton County IT Dept and redirected to the Hamilton County Attorneys office which through a series of emails, redirection of request and internal sources discovered they were told to intentionally delay providing information on the request until after election 3/3/2020.

The issue esculated to include the media and Hamilton County Commission for full transparency due to previous attempts to gather the information from the Hamilton County Attorneys and their excuses and delays to comply. This is not the first time the Hamilton County Attorneys failed to comply and deplayed responses along with destroying information.
