Recently, our crew found a baby snapping turtle that needed a little help. The crew safely relocated it while washing the truck and got it back where it belongs. Just doing our part to keep everyone safe!🐢🚑

CRS was dispatched at 07:06 hours to a Stroke. CRS units responded with a BLS level crew. Our duty crew quickly assessed the patient and determined the need for air medical transport.

Thank you to Chatham Volunteer Fire Department for assisting us with landing zone logistics and thank you to Life-Guard for assisting us with patient care! It’s always a pleasure to work with your crew!

Members of Chatham Rescue Squad participated in a multi-agency Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) training exercise at Chatham Hall this morning alongside local, state, and federal law enforcement, dispatch, Fire/EMS, and school administration teams.

Trainings like these strengthen communication, coordination, and preparedness so we can better serve our community in any situation. We’re grateful for the opportunity to train with such dedicated partners and continue learning together to ensure we’re ready when it matters most. 🚑🚒🚓
