Jake was a friend that I haven’t seen in years, but I was so excited when he reached out to let me know he was engaged! And Emily is such a delightful lady and a great match for Jake. If you can’t tell from these photos, they have a lot of fun together ❤️

It’s our 5 year anniversary today and this native tallgrass prairie is perhaps the best physical example of dedication and teamwork in our marriage so far. There’s also probably a good metaphor for marriage in there… something about slow and steady work together that sometimes feels really hard but is usually quite enjoyable, and how you step back after multiple years and go “wow, look how far this has come!”

Or something like that ❤️

Sidney and Nick are the sweetest little middle school sweethearts you ever did see. They have such a delightful dynamic and it was so wonderful to be a part of their wedding day.

Sarah and Tyler have been in love since before I was born! Just kidding…. I’m way older than them. But they ARE high school sweethearts and it shows. It was so fun to party with them at the beautiful ❤️

Ps. It took me forever to post this because I was so irritated by the dilemma of wanting to combine horizontal and vertical images without making a collage.

I get so much joy out of shooting family sessions in my yard. Thank you to all the families over the past couple years who have come out and trusted the process ❤️ I’m hoping it just keeps getting better!

Mackenzie and Ian had a gorgeous celebration at at the end of June, and there was no shortage of laughter and tears! The venue was beautiful, but not quite as beautiful as the couple. Cheers to Mack and Ian!

Michael and Mariah are the sweetest! They had a beautiful wedding up north of the city at - the rain held off during the day for the perfect overcast at noon, and then we got literally the MOST PERFECTLY TIMED SUNSET. Literally, there was a gap in the clouds that hit EXACTLY as the sun went down and we got the most glorious golden hour. A very beautiful end to the day for this completely deserving couple. ❤️
