This Chevelle is approaching the light at the end of the tunnel after a several-year long restomod. Prior to final assembly, it paid a visit to RM Auto Spa for some much needed refinement on the new paint.

We ran through every inch of this car to remove leftover compound and overspray, along with a multi-step paint correction throughout the entire body to eliminate some leftover sanding scratches from the body shop and swirls from transport and handling.

Once it was looking proper, all painted surfaces were treated with SOFT99 corporation Fussocoat, our favorite paste wax.

This 2005 Porsche 911 was only showing 20,000 miles on the odometer when it came in, however you couldn't tell by looking at it. Previous owners had done a poor job maintaining the finish, which is where RM Auto Spa stepped in.

First order of business was a thorough decontamination wash, as the body and wheels were covered in embedded brake dust and road grime.

Once all the surfaces were properly prepped, a multi step paint correction was performed throughout the whole car to eliminate every last swirl and defect.

Lastly, all painted surfaces were coated with Modesta BC-X to dial up the gloss and make maintenance quick and easy for years to come.

Genesis has really been making a name for themselves as a legitimate luxury brand, with design language and build quality that rivals Mercedes and BMW. The OEM paints coming from Genesis are excellent as well, case in point on this silver GV80. Giving a color as simple as silver so much depth and flake is not an easy task, and the owner of this GV80 agrees with that sentiment, which is why it came in for just about everything we offer at RM Auto Spa.

We applied Paint Protection Film (PPF) to every possible exterior surface. Every inch of the paint, the piano black trim pieces, the headlights and tail lights wears expertly applied PPF. The badges and door handles were pulled prior to application to avoid ugly cutouts, and no edge was left unwrapped. Rock chips and scratches are a thing of the past for this car.

Additionally, all exterior surfaces were covered in their respective Modesta ceramic coatings for extra gloss and easy cleaning for years to come.

There's been an influx of Lamborghinis coming to RM Auto Spa lately, including this 2019 Aventador S Roadster finished in Verde Scandal. First time seeing this color in person!

This one came in with an existing PPF install on the whole car, so we were tasked with applying the cherry on top with Modesta ceramic coatings and windshield protection.

Ultrafit Wincrest Evo was applied to the windshield to prevent pitting and rock chips, which is a must on a car like this where factory glass is invaluable and a replacement piece costs thousands.

The body was coated with Modesta BC-X, the wheels were removed and coated with Modesta BC-06 along with the brake calipers, the glass was coated with Modesta EGC and the seats and door cards were coated with Modesta LPS. No stone was left unturned on this one and now the owner has peace of mind knowing this Aventador is truly fully protected from whatever the elements throw at it.

This 2018 Audi S5 was heavily neglected by its previous owner, and the first thing the new owner did was bring it to RM Auto Spa to reverse said neglect.

A thorough decontamination wash and exterior detail was the first order of business, followed by removal of old and expired Paint Protection Film on the front end (which absolutely did its job, the paint underneath was immaculate after 8 years and 50,000 miles).

Next up was a major paint correction. Multiple steps of compounding and polishing were required to bring the paint back to a respectable state, along with spot sanding in several areas to remove and minimize isolated defects.

Last but not least, the painted surfaces were ceramic coated with Modesta BC-08, our entry level option. This product comes in at a lower price point than the rest of our lineup but still performs like a charm for several years.

This Lamborghini Huracan is a long-time visitor of RM Auto Spa, having been worked on at both our old and current location. This one stopped by in 2023 for a correction and Modesta coatings, which were still performing like day one! However, this time around the car reached its final form with colored Paint Protection Film (PPF).

A few months ago you may recall a similarly colored Urus that we worked on, and the owner wanted his weekend car to match his daily driver. Same as the Urus, we applied Matte Desert Sand colored PPF from Shell Shocked Wraps to the main body panels. I personally wasn't a big fan of the precut film that was installed on the Urus, so every piece of this car was bulk installed and hand trimmed for acceptable coverage. Unlike traditional vinyl, this product is about as thick as regular PPF and provides excellent protection against rocks and scratches, meaning the high impact areas on this car won't need to be replaced prematurely.

In addition to this, the hood, roof, mirrors, rear diffuser and side skirts are wearing gloss Carbon Fiber PPF, giving a nice contrast to the flat tan on the rest of the car.

This Individual-specced BMW X5 recently came by for a much needed refresh after years of neglect.

The first order of business was removing some old and incredibly low quality Paint Protection Film (PPF) from the front end. Despite being hazy and yellow, the paint underneath was spotless, so at the very least the junk film did its job. Fresh PPF was re-applied to the full front end, mirrors and pillars to further preserve these sensitive areas. As always with our film installs, we wrapped and heat sealed every edge and corner for a nearly invisible finish.

Once the film was done, the remainder of the car underwent a multi-step correction to remove loads of swirls and defects, making the Ametrin Metallic paint shine the way it should.

Last but not least, the body was coated in Modesta BC-05, our top shelf ceramic coating option, and the wheels were sprayed with Modesta BC-06, turning the gloss up to 11 and making maintenance easy for years to come.

Sonic Grey Pearl is a personal favorite in the lineup of modern Honda colors, and just like any other Honda paint, it's extremely thin and fragile. The owner of this low mile 2024 Civic SI was well aware of that and took all the right steps.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) was applied to the whole front end and mirror caps to avoid damage from rocks and road debris. As comes standard with all film installs at RM Auto Spa, every edge was wrapped and heat sealed to provide an invisible look and longevity.

The Holy Grail of Hondas paid a visit to the Spa for some stout protection.

This immaculate 2000 Integra Type R has only traveled 35k kilometers over its lifespan, and it shows. We applied Paint Protection Film (PPF) to the front end to keep these high risk areas looking new for years to come. There are no computer cut patterns for this car, so everything was bulk installed and fitted by hand.

The remainder of the car was treated to an enhancement polish and Soft99 Fussocoat paste wax.

A Championship White ITR has always been high on my bucket list and it was truly a pleasure to spend some time with this one!
