Took a step back from the court for a few months—leaned into family, slowed things down, and made space for other parts of life.

And now… I’m back this spring, feeling grounded and more grateful.

During the weekdays, I’ll be offering daytime private lessons to adults, a couple of afternoon small group junior sessions, and continuing with .

We’re so proud of these kids for stepping up to the challenge, building grit, and proving that strength isn’t just physical—it’s mental, too.

Have you seen the temperatures for this week? 🥶 🧊

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We’ve got the heat on and are ready to train with you, no matter what Mother Nature has in store. Check out our website to see our full schedule, but here are some cozy indoor options this week:

✨ MONDAY - checkout our 4:30 Performance class at the studio for ages 15-18. This class focuses on improving performance, form, endurance and recovery.

✨ TUESDAY - our 3:30 Fundamentals class is for age: 6-8 and helps build a foundation of skills for any level.

✨ WEDNESDAY - The 3:30 Strength class for ages 12-14 is a great option for introduction to weights, and understanding the importance of muscle strength + recovery

✨ THURSDAY - Ages 9-11 will love our 4:30 Agility class that includes fun obstacles and courses to keep them moving and motivated

In addition to our classes, we’ve also partnered with who offers indoor small group training throughout the week, right here at APEX!

Do you know we offer camps throughout the year to keep your aspiring or growing athlete busy and engaged in their sport and their training? ✨ 🎾 ⚽️ ⚾️ 🩰 🏀 🏈 ✨

Not only does APEX offer on court tennis training AND indoor strength, agility, and precision coaching for all sports… we also host camps!

These half day and full day options give your athlete a chance to work in small, focused groups and hone their skills. We pride ourselves on creating customized camps that aren’t just about building strength of the body - but also of the mind. Our classes and our camps aim to train the WHOLE athlete - determination, sportsmanship, positive mentality and discipline in both training and recovery.

It’s that time again! ✨🏆 ✨

The vertical jump challenge for October pushed our athletes to new heights, literally. 🙌🏽

It was so great to see everyone get involved, work hard, and see results each and every week. In the end, it was Joaquin who claimed the victory!

Drills we love that you can practice anywhere: Calf raises!

Calf raises offer numerous benefits for overall health and fitness. These benefits include:

Muscular Benefits: Strengthen calf muscles (gastrocnemius and soleus), Improve ankle stability and mobility, and Increase calf muscle size and definition.

Athletic Performance: Enhance jumping ability and ✨vertical leap✨ , Improve running speed and acceleration, and reduce risk of calf and ankle injuries!

🎃 ✨ We’re bringing in October with our next athlete of the month challenge: Vertical Jump!

Vertical jump training offers a wide range of benefits, including increased lower body strength and explosive power, improved athletic performance in sports requiring jumping, enhanced balance and coordination, a reduced risk of injury, and even improved cardiovascular health and bone density.

We’ll spend this month working with our athletes to improve their jump, focusing on proper form and incorporating exercises into their training to strengthen their leap.

We’ll start by marking the height of your standing reach on the wall, then your best out of three jumps. Each week we’ll set new PR goals and talk about how improving upon this exercise can help also improve your overall performance in tennis, football, soccer - you name it!

Good luck to all of our athletes, we can’t wait to see the determination and motivation you bring to training this time!

Congratulations to our September Athlete of The Month winner, Alice Hurt! All of our athletes got involved and made incredible progress throughout the month, adding to their plank PR’s weekly. But in the end, Alice was the one to take home the gold with an absolutely astonishing TWENTY MINUTE PLANK!

Next up we are challenging our athletes to work on their vertical jump. Stay tuned for updates on their progress, tips on perfecting your jump, and more! ✨
