If you’ve ever picked up a piece of pottery and thought “I could make that,” we’re here to prove you right! We have a little something for everyone: one-time workshops, 8-week wheel and hand building classes, private workshops, memberships for experienced ceramicists, and markets to shop work by local makers. It's market day at Morehouse!! We're here until 3pm today - come hang out and check out some of the gorgeous work by our local artisans!

It's market time again!! Our Makers Market will be taking place May 9th, and will host makers of all kinds! We love seeing the Charlottesville community come out to support local artists, and we hope to see you there ☺️☺️

We are so excited for our second annual Potters' Market!! Last year was such a huge success and so much fun, we can't wait to do it again. The market will feature ceramicists from Central Virginia, as well as ornament painting and live wheel demos! We are so passionate about uplifting the ceramics community in Charlottesville, and hope that you'll join us to celebrate these incredible artisans. Tomorrow!!!! We cannot WAIT to see everyone there 👀👀
Our last (but definitely not least) three vendors: Sharon with these ADORABLE ceramics as well as felted keychains and stationary, Kerrie makes whole plethora of things including earrings, bookmarks, embroidery, and more, and Morgan (Cozy and Crafted) with crocheted dinos, bows,and other cute and wearable creations.
All three are first time vendors with us, so come check them out between 11-3 tomorrow! We've got lots of fun and surprises in store. See you then ☺️☺️☺️

Today we have Ken Nagakui (too cool for Instagram), Tanja , and Lisa !
We were so lucky to meet Ken last year before the Potters' market - he's a local who does his own wood firings, which is basically the coolest thing ever. Tanja and Lisa are both Morehouse members! Tanja is one of our newest members and makes pottery with a gorgeous blend of wheel and handbuilding. Lisa got started with pottery at Morehouse and makes all kinds of things, including pottery, crochet, and paintings.
We can't wait to see them and you on Saturday! We'll have live music, screen printed shirts, a charity raffle, and general merriment for the whole family ☺️☺️☺️
