What’s the right way to promote your music? Your art?
Be performative? Fake it till you make it? Or maybe be honest. Or just be a real person? It weeds out the fake friends and people while it builds a community.

While most of my music is either adjacent to politics or blatantly about it. I can’t pretend I don’t have serious views and opinions on what the world is going through. What we in the United States are dealing with. I don’t want to dance around it to not ruffle feathers.

I can’t weep for a dead CEO of one of the most brutally corrupt companies in the healthcare industry. My family suffered through the games insurance providers play. My mother died because of it. And we had to fight tooth and nail after our home burned down just to get what we were owed.
We need healthcare reform. We need healthcare for all.

With so much in our future that is unknown and unpredictable it might be the only thing I can be sure of now.
