We’re so proud of our Ragged Mountain “kids” who sped to blue ribbon winning performances at the State Championships! Congrats to Sam, Grant & Cy (4x800 State Champs for CHS), Ryan (800 State Champ for MHS) and Quinn (1600 State Champ for STAB)!

Congrats to our Zoë, who recently passed the Virginia Bar exam and was officially sworn in by the Commonwealth of Virginia this week! We’re so very proud of her wonderful accomplishment, as she did all of this while working for us at Ragged. Way to go, Zoë!

Our Ragged Mountain and Lorenzoni families had a blast at the CTC’s annual Bruce Barnes Memorial Mile in beautiful Greenwood. Close to 125 folks (many were kids and their parents) blazed to great times along this stunning downhill course. Congrats to the overall champs Sebastian Nowicki (3:59) and Ann Mazur (5:00) and to all the speedy finishers! And a big thanks to longtime co-director Lindy Bain, to the course volunteers and to Susan and Joe at the County Parks and Recreation Department for their hospitality.

Repping Ragged in Canada! Congrats to Ragged Mountain friends Rohann Asfaw (2:25) and Dean Yost (2:20), who had awesome marathon races in Ottawa last weekend!

Join our Ragged Mountain family this week by participating in the ALS 50 Challenge (do 50 of anything...like our mom and dad, who are hiking/walking 50 miles this week). All in support of Hummingbird, our local ALS organization, and in memory of friends like Jim Plews-Ogan and in honor of neighbors like Chris Farina.

Roughrider Teddy would be proud! Close to 45 folks braved the cold rain on Saturday to hike to PineKnot, Teddy Roosevelt’s presidential cabin getaway tucked deep in the woods of Keene next to Plain Dealing Farm.
