Why’d I join ROTC/The Marine Corps: I’ve always wanted to serve others and contribute to a greater cause. I aspire to be challenged everyday to become a better version of myself.

After Commissioning: The Basic School, then flight training in Pensacola, FL

Major: Psychology

Advice to younger Midshipmen: Four years will go by in the blink of an eye, so make the most of your time while you have it. Take advantage of all the unique opportunities you have at UVA to grow and have fun!

NSO Complete! 🎉
After completing their culminating event, candidates graduated into 4/C Midshipmen! We are so proud of the work they have done and are excited to have 19 new students join our unit.

Day 3 Complete!
Yesterday morning, candidates received O-Course instruction, went to the shooting range, and began preparing for their graduation ceremony. Keep pushing candidates!

NSO Day 2 Complete!
Yesterday, Candidates conducted morning PT, were given instruction on Navy and Marine Corps uniform wear, and built on their knowledge of close order drill.

Congratulations, Marines!

This summer, two of our Midshipmen Earned the Title of United States Marine by completing Officer Candidates School. Through six-weeks of intense training, Officer Candidates are tested and pushed to their limits both mentally and physically. Congratulations to MIDN 1/C Retz and MIDN 1/C Pastino on their hard work and momentous achievement.
