We have been BUSY building and developing quite an amazing selection of top qualty ponies at Sugarday Farm!!
I have been carefully studying, breeding, and collecting(curating), for 5 years now with my business partner and the farm owner Robert Haschart
As you a see from my list, Sara Mccormick has been a great influence on both breeding to her stallions as well as buying many of her young stock over the years. I could not be happier with our results and the path we are on!
Our oldest homebreds are 5 this year and going nicely under saddle. Local show miles. Hunter Breeding miles. Young Horse Series miles. Tons of love and care, live mostly outdoors in groups in large, green hilly pastures.

Wowza!
In our first year out showing together as a Sugarday Farm team (Allison Wilkie, Shelby Stone Robert HaschartEmma WhiteChristine TroutnerCharlotte CannonWilliam E Howland Jr.Junior JohnsonAly Black) we presented and showed over 10 horses and ponies in both the Hunter Breeding and Young Horse Show Series and local show formats. Our homebreds, purchases and consignment/training horses exceeded our expectations by miles and miles. The Carrico/Black Tie youngsters were Champion and Reserve Champion at the national finals in their age categories. The ponies we showed this year “killed it” wherever we went.

Here are a few examples of what we have currently offered for sale! We have weanlings to 4 year olds available. All bred and curated for the hunter market. Prices from high 4🥕 to low 6🥕. Financing and reduced board packages available for your long term investments.

Stunning mover, kind and brave personality. Will be a top notch AO/Derby type hunter or the judges at Young Horse Series quoted saying she could be a "top dressage horse." Typey, modern filly. First time off the farm was Young Horse Show Series (YHS) Finals and she ended up Finals Champion Yearling
(which included conformation, movement and suitability for the hunters)

Rock Steady SH (Rolo)
14.1 hands 2021 KWPN/Welsh Gelding
USEF 5848232/WPCSA 55511
Reserve Champion 2023 USHJA Zone 3 and VHSA Pony Hunter Breeding Two Year Old. He was 2nd in the WIHS/USHJA Zone 3 Breeding Championships Two Year Old Pony.
Rolo has also competed in the Young Horse Show Series (YHS) and notably won against warmblood horses his first time showing at Jump Chute at Loch Moy Farms and qualified for the in-hand and jump chute finals as well first time out. Rolo is a freakishly gifted pony with an incredible jump.

Astro Pop SH (Astro)
2020 KWPN/Welsh Small Hunter
Astro Pop SH, owned by Sugarday Farm LLC & ridden by Christine Troutner were 3rd & 1st in the Adult Pleasure Hunter out of a huge group of very nice horses at his very first horse show at Four Oaks Farm! Astro is jumping around small courses and showing great promise to be a real competitor for the small hunter division! Great brain and quiet enough for kid or amateur to bring along with a trainer.
