Charlottesville's Community-Supported Fishery What is a CSF? VNFC farms raise fish sustainably and do not use hormones or antibiotics.
C'ville CSF aims to connect Charlottesville residents with local farmers, providing safe, sustainably-harvested fish to the City Market on a biweekly basis. A study by Oceana indicates a substantial portion of fish is mislabeled. Their suggestion: establish relationships with your fish vendor. At C'ville CSF, we support local fish farmers in southern Virginia, who come to the Farmers' Market to meet you directly and guarantee the quality - and labeling - of our fish.

And we're back!
CVille CSF will begin its second year at the Charlottesville City Market on April 7. Shares for the new season are available for purchase at our website ( cvillecsf.com ). We would like to thank you all for the support over the past year, and we are looking forward to another successful season this Spring and Summer.
