Hello everyone, I am the original creator of this page. Although not as involved in NAMI as I once was, I am very happy to see the page is alive and well, and being used to help those who have loved ones struggling with mental heath issues. My family still struggles, but we have managed to paddle through the storms.
Recently, I started a new YouTube page called “The Code Purple Project”. It presents various mental health related topics. For instance, we just released. New video on Anosognosia. We are looking for your recommendations of topics. Please feel free to comment your suggestions below. Also, if you have any issues with any of the content, please let me know. Our goal is to increase the visibility of the channel and increase its reach, so folks have a better understanding of what the mental illness struggle is all about.

WE HAVE RESUMED IN PERSON MEETINGS!
We are moved to The Center at Belvedere. (540 Belvedere Blvd, Charlottesville, VA 22901). The Center is a beautiful facility, with ample parking, handicap accessible. We will meet in a large meeting room with windows and a high ceiling. Our plan is to meet in person at The Center every first and third Thursday. with family support groups. For the second and fourth Thursday of every month, we will continue to meet via Zoom.
