I took this class two years ago, and it was fantastic! The teacher comes from Japan and she is very passionate about traditional techniques for making food. The class will include a continental breakfast and lunch, and you get miso to take home.

It's a one-day class, so you can sign-up for either Saturday or Sunday. 15 spots available for each day. The class will be held at 221 Carlton Rd. Suite 10 at The Catering Outfit's new event space, Belmont Crossing.

About Jared
Jared is an acupuncturist, Zero Balancer, and herbalist, and has been studying various healing arts for over 20 years. His undergraduate degree led him to both a deep understanding of psychology and natural systems, and eventually to a Masters in Acupuncture program from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture. The Five-Element Acupuncture that Jared practices allows for healing on all levels - body, mind, and spirit - and allows for a greater understanding of how we can stay balanced in Nature and through the seasons. He now offers private and group acupuncture sessions, a growing line of herbal products, and various workshops and nature walks. He has been practicing Zero Balancing since 2010 and is a current faculty member.
