A Sirrus amount of rain in the forecast calls for full-fender magic. 🌧️

Specialized Sirrus, size medium. Likes: smooth commutes, rainy rides, and long rolls on paved paths.

Thank you for donating 75 abandoned bikes to Charlottesville Community Bikes this week! 🚲

We’re grateful for partners who help keep bikes out of the waste stream and get them back where they belong: rolling through the community.

Everesting for Every Rider 05/11/2026

CCB Board Member Ed Kwasnick is taking on an "Everesting" challenge to raise funds for Community Bikes.

On June 13, Ed will ride the same Blue Ridge Parkway climb again and again until he reaches 29,029 feet of elevation gain. If he completes it, that’s 38 laps and 209 miles.

He’s riding to support Community Bikes and help more neighbors access bikes, repairs, safety gear, and reliable transportation.

Want to join the fun? Donate, make a Pick Your Pain pledge, dedicate a lap, join us at Everest Base Camp, or ride a segment with Ed.

Bike joy at Family Bike Day!
Last Sunday, CCB board members joined the festivities at McIntire Skate Park, sharing info about Community Bikes and celebrating a fun afternoon of riding, helmet fitting, bike safety, decorating, and community.

Thanks to and for bringing families together for this event and to our board members for showing up and representing CCB out in the community 🚲

A HUGE thank you to the for selecting Community Bikes as a 2026 race beneficiary of this year’s and presenting CCB with an incredible $20,000 gift!

And an equally huge thank you to every volunteer who came out on race day to support CCB. Because of you, this funding will help us get more bikes, helmets, lights, locks, and repairs to neighbors who need safe, reliable transportation.

Thank you Charlottesville Track Club, Ten Miler runners, race volunteers, and everyone who helped make this possible. 🚲🏃‍♀
