For the past 8 years, Southern Development Homes has proudly partnered with Better Living Building Supply for Rise Against Hunger and this year was no exception!

Last Friday’s meal packing event was another reminder of the impact that can happen when our community comes together. Since our first event in 2017, we’ve packaged an incredible 77,760 meals, enough to provide school lunches for 360 children for an entire school year.

Over the years, these meals have reached communities in Haiti, the Philippines, South Sudan, Vietnam, Nicaragua, and Madagascar. The meals packed last week are expected to ship later this summer, and we can’t wait to hear where they’ll be headed next.

We’re grateful to continue being part of something bigger than ourselves and thankful to everyone who volunteered their time to make a difference. 🌎
