Why are all shower curtains the stupid, standard 72” x 72”? Easiest way to make a bathroom feel super Lux is to raise the curtain rod and add an extra tall liner. @ Charlottesville, Virginia

(One of) the reasons I probably shouldn’t have nice things....

These ginger jars keep finding new homes as Bo grows. Their first home was not supposed to be ours, but, alas, pregnancy brain also gave me butter fingers and the breaker did some buying. Recently, I can hear the porcelain rubbing as I’m doing dishes and I know exactly where he is and what he is doing. The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

But also, secretly, in my most secret of secret hearts, way *way* down deep, I would love for Bo to give me one more story to tell about these vases. Fill your house with interesting, perishable items, folks. Keeps life interesting ❤️🍎🌳💚

While I am thankful for friends, family, amazing clients and a career doing what I love and would like to extend Thanksgiving well wishes from my family to yours; Bo would like to remind everyone of the genocide and conquest of the Native Americans by colonists and deeply condemn the political and cultural amnesia that this holiday represents. 😂 (14/52)

Dining room built-in design & material scheme on the drafting table this AM. Feeling refined, earthy and organic. Mid-century modern without being too mid-century modern. Gotta get this off my desk and then Thanksgiving festivities can commence! (13/52) @ Charlottesville, Virginia

The leading edge trim that I added to Bo’s linen curtains bring focus and fun to this room. The curtains transformed the space — they brought warmth and coziness and vertical emphasis. But the trim transformed the curtains — buhbye, boring ole linen curtains. And, by “I added”, I actually sewed that trim to the curtains! 😃 You have permission to be impressed, but you do not have permission to look closely at the stitching details. @ Charlottesville, Virginia
