This wedding was so much fun! I've known Lauren's family since I was a kid and it was like a mini reunion catching up with people we haven't seen in 15-20 years. It was also a pleasure to meet their other family and friends and celebrate their special day! Enjoy a few of our favorites.

Last week's crazy four days of straight rain cleared away just in time for Melissa and Ben's wedding on Saturday giving us a gorgeous blue sky and cool temperatures. It was a fantastic gathering of family and friends at Lydia Mountain Lodge & Log Cabins and it was truly our pleasure to be a part of the day. Here are a few of our favorites - enjoy!

We met Kat and Sean at a wedding we photographed last year and we were thrilled when they asked us to photograph their wedding. Sarah wasn't able to join me for their wedding, so Kelly Hudgins Photography jumped in and helped make sure we didn't miss a beat (many thanks, Kelly!). It was so great getting to see many of Kat's family members again and meeting Sean's family as well as their wonderful friends. The day was amazing and here are a few of our favorites. Enjoy!

We love photographing the same family year after year and watching the kids grow! This is our third year in a row with this fabulous family and we already can't wait for next year when we can include the new baby! (I promise I permission to post the news on Facebook!)

We met Kathryn at a wedding about a year and a half ago, and we've had the pleasure of getting to know her and Aaron since then photographing their engagement session and bridal portraits. When we get to know clients that well, the wedding day is so enjoyable - even in the midst of a day-long downpour like we had in Richmond on Saturday! Despite not being able to get out and about for portraits and having to dodge puddles everywhere, the day went smoothly and everyone had a blast complete with the best first dance we've seen. Here are a few of my favorites!

Quynh-Anh and Spencer's wedding on Saturday was an incredible celebration. We started the day at her parents' house in the morning, then traveled to the church and on to the reception! We were immediately welcomed into their family and we had so much fun getting to know everyone and capturing their big day. Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Yesterday was such a wonderful wedding day for Lisa and Phil. After getting ready at the fabulous 200 South Street Inn and being surrounded by their families for an intimate ceremony, they were joined by a host of friends for a great party at South Street Brewery. The heat didn't slow them down and everyone enjoyed the day! Enjoy a few of our favorites.

Andrea and Doug's wedding last night at King Family Vineyards was stunning in so many ways. The weather was perfect, the setting was gorgeous, and their friends and family were so welcoming, relaxed, and great dancers! We had a wonderful time photographing the day. What a joy and honor it was to be asked to photograph my cousin's wedding! I (Sarah) have known Laura Franklin since the day she was born. The sun warmed this special day just as Brandyn and Laura's love for one another warmed our hearts. After the ceremony, we celebrated in a beautiful field across from her childhood home--there was delicious food, lots of dancing, batminton and crafting. Enjoy a few of our favorite moments of the day!
