Sharing a great moment with you all and how I managed to prepare for the 550lb TRAP BAR DEADLIFT
Commentary makes it more comical, but those first two exercises did get the body primed for the max strength lifts.
Hips being able to generate power from the hip throws is extremely beneficial.
As is getting the fast twitch muscle fibers (Type II) recruited for being able to lift fast.
I promise I don't care that it's not conventional. Just excited to move this weight for total of 3 reps that day.
Hope the exercises help your lift 💪🏾
Hope the voice over helps you laugh!

Here is one of my clients, Tamika E., working on sculpting her muscles to continue building strength and changing her body composition.
Positives she has shared with me on her journey has been the clothes fitting better (and some more loose!), more energy throughout the day, and actually seeing the difference in how she looks in the mirror.

Honest moment....
I planned to have a program created for fathers to become a better, fitter version of themselves. My original date to share it was in June, but...
Life happened. Taking care of my newborn son and taking care of the rest of the family became a higher priority. I apologize for the "radio silence" as I've been needing to re-record some videos, but I promise it will be out at the beginning of October, at the latest.
My only aim is to help those needing assistance to being a better, stronger, and healthier version of themselves.
More updates will be posted for those that follow this page, and it will be centered around Forever Athletes, as opposed to JUST young athletes.
Looking forward to finalizing the program, delivering more training information, and life updates with you all!
Be well and be blessed!

As promised, this is the "Move Better Blueprint" for anyone looking for a starting point in training in exercise. This can be used 3-4 times per week. Please share with a family member or friend that needs a start.
I want you all to know that I am serious about looking out for YOUR health, but you have to be WILLING. Life is valuable and I want the best for everyone!
The Move Better Blueprint Move Better Blueprint DISCLAIMER: This exercise program is not customized nor tailored to anyone in particular, but can benefit everyone that is willing to move. This exercise program should take anywhere between 25-45 minutes, depending on the pace that you go at. The main movements covered are...
PLEASE LISTEN TO THE WHOLE MESSAGE!
I apologize to those that keep up with the exercises, injury rehab, and progressive training tips I give out.
Within the next 24-48 hours, I will be pinning a "The Better Start Blueprint" training program for free. Exercise links will be posted here and on YouTube. Is it custom made? No, but the plan is to get those moving that are not. It's a terrible thing to not be able to enjoy your friends and family because you lack strength.
Share this message with someone that you care about and want them in your life longer, but are concerned about their health.
Let's move and get better together.

REDUCING KNEE PAIN - Exercise 1
I understand that a lot of folks go through knee pain at some point of their life, but I promise you that if you can move even a little bit in this motion, then you'll eventually get back to being pain free.
Strengthening the quadriceps (thigh muscles) can help reduce pain in the knee. Extending the leg to an almost straight position and holding it at this position (an isometric contraction) will strengthen tendons.
For general weakness of the muscle, as opposed to the patellar tendon, do reps instead of a hold.
If you're unsure and severity is crippling, see a doctor before attempting these to make sure you are cleared to exercise.
Share with a friend or family member in need! Just because it hurts now doesn't mean you can't lift and knee to be in pain forever!
Be blessed and happy training 🙏🏾
