The happiest girl is beginning to emerge from her newborn cocoon! She smiles when she wakes, when I change her diaper, when given kisses (even dad’s prickly ones), when admiring her contrast toys, when she’s proud of herself for making noises, and when she sees herself in the mirror😂 but man you will never catch her taking a nap by herself for longer than 30 minutes🫠

2 MONTHS!
Baby girl has the leg strength of a ox and her neck is getting there too! She loves sitting on my shoulder to look around and falls asleep instantly when wearing her🙌 and we’ve finally heard her first coos and seen some big smiles!
I swear the oxytocin I get from one smile is enough to make me forget all things difficult haha this is such a fun snuggly phase I never want to end!

Man time flies when all you do is stare at your newborn’s face all day👀
There’s a lot of exhaustion at this stage but man the joy outweighs it 100000x. She’s still just a sleepy limp noodle at this stage but we get the occasional smiles (probably because of her gas lol) and are enjoying her beginning to discover the world around her. Can’t wait to see what next month brings❤️
