Production Notes: Turkey Turkey was a magical place to film. The Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans have all left their mark on this country and no matter where you are — from the winding alleys of Istanbul to the ancient port city of Ephesus at the end of the Silk Road — it's an incredibly cinematic place.
