We are a nonprofit in Concord, NC working to empower at-risk women to support themselves. All of these are done at no cost to the participant.
CoreyAnthony Incorporated was founded in 2009 to teach women the skills needed to support themselves and their families. Because many women feel stuck with no options out because they lack the skills, education and work history to get a job, they remain in their unhappy, abusive or unhealthy situations. Through our different programs and with the help of our volunteers, we provide workshops, hands
-on training, mentoring and ongoing support. Our Program
Our most successful program to date, CoreyAnthony Fashion Exchange, teaches women all the aspects of running an online business, including inventory acquisition, taking pictures, listing, shipping, customer service and accounting. When they complete the program and internship, they are able to continue to work for the center, mentor others, and/or they can take their skills and open their own store. The best part of this new skill is that it follows them wherever they go. Workshops, Seminars and Training
We also offer computer and life skills training and give seminars on interviewing and resume writing. Please check our website for upcoming offerings. Our programs are supported financially by donations, sales from our monthly pop-up shop, and our online store. http://stores.ebay.com/coreyanthony and coreyanthony.org.
