Please get this poor baby
We wanted to get this sweet boy Briscoe a 10 yr old pit mix posted this morning in hopes that during the adoption event today this sweet boy can find his forever home. Someone who will love him, and spoil him so he will never end up back here again or in any Shelter for that matter.
This is at least the third or fourth time this dog has been here as a stray since 2018
The owner has redeemed him each time, but he has not this time
And he looks absolutely horrible. It is heartbreaking. He is extremely skinny and needs his eyes looked at, the vet has flushed them out so he is a medical adoption, It just means that whoever adopts him needs to get him to a vet just to have him checked out he also is heartworm positive, but has already started treatment at the Shelter
He is also already neutered
There has to be someone out there that will take this sweet older boy and give him a comfortable bed where he can lay his head for the rest of whatever life he has left
Please come to meet Briscoe today. The shutter is open from 930 to 3.
If this picture doesn’t break your heart, I do not know what would

🚨 WE NEED MOVEMENT. NOW. 🚨
Our shelter is beyond full, and without adoptions, fosters, rescues, and shares, lives are at risk.
The hardest part? So many of the dogs in danger are the sweetest, most deserving souls you could ever meet. They are friendly, loving, well-mannered dogs who simply ran out of time and space.
Please don’t scroll past them.
🏡 Adopt.
🐾 Foster.
📣 Share their posts.
❤️ Tell a friend.
Every share puts a dog in front of new eyes. Every foster opens a kennel. Every adoption saves not just one life, but often the life of the dog who can take that newly opened space.
We are begging for help because these dogs deserve a chance. Please help us create the movement they need before it’s too late.

🚨 WE NEED YOU. 🚨
Every day, homeless puppies, dogs, cats, and kittens come into our care with NOWHERE ELSE TO GO. Some are scared, some are sick, some are too young to survive on their own—but all of them are counting on someone to give them a chance.
⚠️ RIGHT NOW, OUR FOSTER HOMES ARE FULL. ⚠️
We urgently need more families willing to open their hearts and homes. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES. It gives frightened animals a safe place to heal, grow, learn to trust, and prepare for their forever families.
You don't need a perfect home.
You don't need years of experience.
❤️ YOU JUST NEED COMPASSION AND A LITTLE SPACE IN YOUR HEART. ❤️
For every foster home that steps up, ANOTHER LIFE CAN BE SAVED.
🐾 Could that hero be you? 🐾
If you've ever thought about fostering, NOW IS THE TIME. Please message us to learn more about fostering puppies, dogs, cats, or kittens.
Together, we can give them the second chance they deserve.

🚨ROSSCO SCHEDULED FOR EUTHANASIA 6/14 @ 11AM FOR SPACE🚨
Rossco has spent the last 2 months trapped inside a loud, overwhelming shelter after being found as a stray, and now this playful, affectionate boy is running out of time.
He’s only around 3 years old and still has so much life and excitement in him. Volunteers describe a dog who runs up to greet people with a wagging tail, gives kisses, begs for attention, and just wants someone to play with him. He knows “sit,” takes treats nicely, and has that goofy, energetic personality that makes you smile instantly.
But the shelter environment is clearly becoming too much for him. Imagine trying to stay calm while surrounded by nonstop barking, unfamiliar dogs, constant stress, and almost no real outlet for energy or decompression. Rossco is an active dog who desperately needs space, structure, and consistency, not confinement in a kennel day after day.
Even after dealing with painful fly strike wounds and then developing an upper respiratory infection in the shelter, Rossco has remained friendly and eager for attention. He has rough-and-rowdy play tendencies and can get overstimulated in the chaotic shelter, but that does not mean he deserves to die for space. It means he needs a real chance outside these walls with guidance, decompression, exercise, and stability.
Rossco’s life depends on someone stepping up for him before it’s too late.

Good choice
This is orange. He has a lot to say. Orange has been with us 5 years. He's actually our shelter King right now even though he's three and a half legs. Well he's actually got four legs but one of his real legs doesn't unfold too well. In fact it is actually fused in the sitting position. When he was a feral kitten he got a broken leg and it healed on its own as he sat. So now when he gets up the little leg still keeps trying to walk but it doesn't reach the ground anymore. I had a choice when we trapped him. My choices were to keep him or to put him down. Well here he is 5 years old so I guess we know the choice. We thought of amputating the leg but it still moves and why break skin that you don't have to. He still gets around fine and jumps from Floor 2 table.
