We had a little something cooking in Canton this week as some of the best minds and hands at United Utility Services came together to put the finishing touches on a unique project we'll soon unveil at the upcoming Southeastern Electric Exchange.

United Utility Power Services was proud to participate in the recent career fair hosted by Palm Beach State College for students in the Electrical Power Technology program and other technical disciplines.

During the event, we engaged with students and shared insights into the many opportunities available within the utility industry, including careers in transmission and distribution (T&D) design and permitting.

United Utility Services remains committed to investing in education and community partnerships to ensure the future growth of a skilled workforce.

As America gets ready to celebrate its 250th birthday, we are reminded that the strength of our nation has always come from those willing to serve something greater than themselves. For two and a half centuries, generations of heroes have answered the call; let’s honor and thank them this Memorial Day, while pausing to reflect with gratitude on their bravery and service to our great nation. Our freedoms are only possible because of their ultimate sacrifice.

Our team had a memorable time in Chicago this week at the IEEE PES T&D Conference & Exposition. Even our four-legged teammate, Rotary, thought it was paws-itively productive! 🐾

This year’s theme was “Powering Reliability, Engineering Resilience” and it was great to get in face-to-face time with our peers across the utility industry. We shared ideas, heard about the latest innovations shaping the future of our field, and as always, had some awesome booth giveaways! 😊

Our Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) team made some outstanding new connections and had impactful conversations with industry partners from across the country.
We’re grateful for the time together as a team and the opportunity to represent United Utility Services. Thank you to everyone who made this week such a success - we’re already looking forward to the next IEEE PES T&D Conference & Exposition in 2028!
