Something I'd like to share about event management…there is no safety net.

When something goes wrong, it usually doesn’t happen behind the scenes. It happens live, in front of attendees, clients, and partners.

We are making decisions in real time, often with incomplete information and real consequences.

Sometimes it’s small, like batteries in a remote control.
Sometimes it’s the elevator going down… and suddenly everyone’s taking the stairs. 🫣
And still, the show must go on.

That’s why great event professionals don’t just execute.
They anticipate. They scenario plan.They stay steady when things don’t go as planned.

Because pressure isn’t something you avoid in this industry, it’s something you learn to operate within.
